Since the landmark commissioning of mass transit services by Kogi state Government on Monday by the state governor, Captain Idris Wada, residents of Lokoja have called for extension of bus services to Zango-daji and other suburbs, in the state capital.
The people of Lokoja who spoke to The Graphic shortly after the commissioning of the twelve 32-seater buses applauded the effort of the state government, describing it as a watershed.
Many of them called for extension of services of the bus to Salem University, Zango-daji and others settlements around Lokoja, the state capital.
In the same vein, the House has passed a resolution calling on the operator of Kogi Transport Scheme, Planet Project Limited to extend the services to Zango –daji, a suburb in the state capital in view of the number of people living in the area.
