Kogi APC Swears in Lokoja LGA Party Executives

All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State has sworn its Lokoja Local Government Area members of Executive into office.
The swearing in took place at the party’s secretariat in Lokoja Monday.
Speaking at the occasion, the state deputy Chairman, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ibrahim Akabu said in a welcome address that the party was in a new path to greatness, and expressed optimism that the new members of executive would bring their political experiences to bear on the state’s polity, especially in the Local Government.
He described the new party executives as people that would bring their experiences to bear on the party at their levels, stressing the commitment of the APC to clinch all offices it would stand election in future polls.
On his part, the party Chairman for Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Maikudi Bature expressed hope that the APC aspirant for the forthcoming by-election into the Federal House of Representatives for Lokoja/Kogi Constituency, Alhaji Haruna Isah would emerge victorious.
He thanked Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for support the party has been receiving from the state government, which he said has assisted the party in its repositioning process towards emerging victorious in the coming elections.
Those sworn into office include Chief Emmanuel Olobiyo, Vice Chairman; Umar Yahaya Danjuma, Assistant Secretary; Mohammed Ndambabo, PRO; Abdullahi David, Organizing Secretary; Mohammed Galadima, Legal Adviser; Hajiya Fatima Abdulkadir, Women Leader; Safia Umar, Assistant Women Leader; Ajala Adeyemi, Auditor; and Ismail Nasir, Treasurer.
Also sworn in were Shaibu Gambo, Assistant Auditor; Chief Dauda Ibrahim, Financial Secretary; Mrs Martina Abdullahi, Assistant Financial Secretary; Mohammed Isah, Assistant PRO; Bello Mohammed, Assistant Organizing Secretary, Mohammed Adamu, Welfare Secretary and Inuwa Mahmud Mohammed, Assistant Welfare Secretary.
The rest were Ahmed Umar Faruk, Youth Leader; Adamu Ibrahim, Assistant Youth Leader; Mohammed Shaibu, Assistant Legal Adviser; Abdullahi Mahmud, representative of the Physically Challenged and Mohammed Jibril, Hajia Aisha Gimba, Haruna Isah Nagya and Adamu Mohammed, who all hold the position of ex-officio.
