KOGI State chapter of the All Peoples Congress (APC), on Wednesday, suspended some members of the party for having the audacity to challenge the state congress held in April in the court of law.

A faction of the party, last Monday, went to court, challenging the state and local government congresses of the party held in April, calling for cancellation.

Speaking during the  inauguration of the state chairman of the APC, Alhaji Haddy Ametuo, who made this known, said their suspension was in line with the party’s constitution, which stipulated penalties for any one or group of person, who challenged the party in court.

“Immediately after the congress, this group of people, who did not take part  in the congress raised issues. The party immediately set up a reconciliatory committee to look into their grievances. The reconciliatory committee called for a meeting, which some of these people did not attend.

My believe is  that these people are agents of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), specifically sent to destabilise the party” he said.
