Following the adoption of a Direct Primary Election by All Progressive Congress to elect their party’s flag bearer to lead the party to victory on November 11th gubernatorial election, the most talked about Aspirant and friend of many, Jibrin Momoh has pushed into the public space what many described as a perfect model for a renewed hope in Kogi State.
Jibrin Momoh, early today in Lokoja, Kogi State while addressing some journalists during an exclusive interview, revealed his plans for Kogi State; which he tagged “Renewed Direction & Hope ’23.”
In his eight pages manifesto, with over 70 pages of addendums, Jibrin Momoh explained vividly why he is the best aspirant to represent his party at the forthcoming gubernatorial election and should be highly considered by his party members.
In his manifesto, his preamble stated: “On our first day in office, we will initiate an Economic Recovery Strategy for Wealth and Employment Creation (ERS) for Kogi State. We shall fully unlock Kogi State’s numerous potentials and create jobs through sustainable investments in agriculture, industry, skills acquisition, and the service sectors. We shall have a governance system that allows for the free expression of the aspirations and choices of the people as well as their full participation in developmental processes. Following the example of the current administration, we shall strengthen the structures of decentralized governance and give opportunities to all citizens of the State to make their contribution to her greatness and share in her prosperity”
Jibrin Momoh Campaign Network (JIMCAN) added that “above is more than convincing for anyone, and especially members of APC, to consider giving Jibrin Momoh a chance as the party’s candidate.
“The campaign organization therefore soliciting for the support of all progressive party members of our dear party, APC, to cast their votes for the people’s preferred choice and deliver the mandate of the Renewed Direction & Hope promised by Jibrin Momoh.”
