It is no doubt that Kogi State has been a civil servant state, this is so because there are no industries, no social activities and investments that can generate internal revenue for the state and engage the youths off the street for good. Everybody is dependent on the government, which is why the state is still backwards. Should we continue depending on the government? Should the government of Kogi State continue receiving bailout funds from the federal government? Have we not come to the stage where we have to develop ourselves? All this questions have answers that are possible if we reflect.

We need leaders that are experienced who can represent us in our own best Interests. Dr. Aminu Musa Audu is one of our own that has been put to so many experiences that can help take Kogi from the bondage she is today, that can take kogi state out of been strictly civil servant state.

At the Europe Cooperate Games 2014 and 2016 respectively, Dr. Aminu Musa participated tremendously as an Official Games Helper which has earn him a lot of experience, commendations from CULTURE LIVERPOOL and WIRRAL COUNCIL and exposure to sports.

In this age of Kogi State where external resources and connections are needed, Dr. Aminu is capable and has the ability to organise a global festival for sports where youths will be engaged positively and be exposed to the world when similar event is held in Kogi State, the local economy will no doubt grow, workers will be paid their salaries and infrastructural developments will definitely be done at ease.

It is really time to think outside the box and see areas where jobs can be created for our teeming youths and the next generation won’t have to face any hardship. This is not time for sentiments and too much political party attachments, it’s time to face reality for the love of Kogi State.

God bless Kogi State!
