Knightgate Establish School of Journalism in Kabba

A campus of Knightgate Institute of Media and Political Studies has been opened in Kabba, Kogi State.
A statement by the Chairman of Knightgate Group, Pastor Stanley Ajileye, says the establishment of the professional training school is a fulfilment of a long awaited dream.
According to the astute journalist and publisher of Kogi Agenda magazine, the vision is to create an opportunity for young talents to become professional in the field of media and politics.
He said one of his discoveries around our community, is the fact that, there are budding talents around us, that can become successful just with little professional push.
Ajileye hinted that the school, for now will be awarding diploma certificates in three different disciplines which include: Journalism, Public Relations and Political Studies, adding that, his organisation runs on another hand, a Computer Training Institute also in Kabba which is already making great impact on the lives of our youths.
On Political Studies, he said the introduction of the course is highly amazing, because, it is new in this part of the world.
He said the introduction of Political Studies is to help our politicians access fundamental knowledge that would make them more relevant on the field of politics.
On the curriculum of the school, the ace journalist stressed that the school’s curriculum is based on international standard and training are to be handled by top professional from within and outside the state. As such, certificate to be issued by the institute will be tenable anywhere on the planet earth.
Presently according to him, a secretariat office has been opened at Hon Funsho Otu complex at Korede Kabba, where forms are already on sale and where enquiries can also be made.
“Admission for the first session is ongoing,” he added.
