In the famous words of Martin Luther king Jr., “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in time of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in time of challenges and controversy”.
Dear good people of Kabba/Bunu Constituency!
Permit me to salute your courage, doggedness and perseverance during this trying and challenging period.
I sincerely share in the pain, agony and misery brought upon us as a people by those whom we have elected to represent our interest at various levels of government.
With the 2019 general election in view, there is hope of Kabba/Bunu Constituency being better repositioned for overall development.
I believe all that is required to return Kabba/Bunu Constituency to the orbit of her glorious past with a total commitment to set our constituency on the road to visible and sustainable recovery from the shackles of poverty, want and diseases is your massive votes for Sheyi Babaeko, the candid candidate for the Kogi State House of Assembly under the Unity Party of Nigeria in the 2019 election.  This call has become imperative for us to get it right as a people who urgently needs an intervention before we slip from the index of a failed state to that of a collapsed one. God forbids!
We urgently need a change in our thinking, approach and methodology. The APC and PDP have failed us, UPN is the party with the welfare of the people at heart.
Our ideas and manifesto are issues driven, development focused, people oriented and pragmatically packaged for the benefits of all sons and daughters of our Jerusalem.
It is in view of this that I am determined to do things differently to get the positive and desired results for a new and prosperous future for Kabba/Bunu Constituency, a mega city in prospects.
Part of the Bills I will Sponsor are:
* The Criminalization of Non-Payment of Salaries, Pensions and Students’ Bursary:
This bill once passed to law will make it a criminal offence not to pay workers’ salaries, pensioners and students bursary as at when due.
* The Rotation of the Gubernatorial Position Between the Senatorial Districts: The Okun people have been marginalized over time despite the fact that the Okun people were already doing well in Kwara State before the creation of Kogi State. A particular region has been using her population to marginalize the other zones so this bill when passed to law will give each region the right to produce the Governor as against the conventional arrangement that presently obtains.
* The Bill for Post-Secondary School Education: This bill will make it compulsory for free vocational education to encourage specialization especially in Science, Agriculture and Technology.
* The Bill for a Local Government Status for Kabba-Bunu: This Bill is to get a separate Local Government for Kabba and Bunu.  When passed to law, it will fast track development and increase employment opportunities.  Above all, it will increase political participation and draw government closer to the people.
 * The Bill for Disability Allowance:  This bill is to cater for the disabled people of Kogi State in general and when passed to law, it will mandate government to pay monthly allowance to all disabled people without a Job to cater for themselves.
No doubt the above proposed bills and many more ideas and initiatives of ours will go a very long way to reposition Kabba/Bunu Constituency for overall national development.
And in line with the party position with particular reference to security as an economic issue; It is an incontrovertible fact that the high poverty level has contributed to the alarming Insecurity we are currently facing be it personal, organizational, communal and national.  The party is determined to make macro-economic activity the basis for generating micro economic activity a sure way to guarantee socio-economic stability”.
With a grounded knowledge in Local Government Studies from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, the best University in South of Sahara Africa and a Master’s degree in Conflict, Development and Security from University of Leeds U.K, there is no doubting the fact that Kabba/BunuConstituency is in the right hand at the right time for better repositioning.
Be rest assured that my first one hundred days in office will set the whole constituency on the road to visible and sustainable recoveries with an ambulance service equipped with a functional oxygen and drugs to treat accident victims and medical emergency. Free internet access and the upgrading of our schools’ library is also a promise I am committed to fulfilling.
Towards this end, I remain committed and faithfully yours in the struggle.
