The immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Capt. Idris I. Wada has commiserated with people of the State and especially the immediate family of the former Minister for Labour, Employment and Productivity, Barrister James Ocholi over the sudden demise of the respected legal luminary.
He described his death as as a big loss to the Igala nation in particular and humanity in general. The tragedy occurred yesterday in a ghastly motor accident along Abuja- Kaduna highway. Sadly, the accident also claimed other members of the Ocholi family.
In a condolence message signed by his Media Aide, Mr. Jacob Edi, the former governor extolled the virtues of the departed politician and urged people to emulate his footsteps. He said his death occurred when he was most needed and that his transition would leave a big gap in the country’s political and judicial space.
Capt. Wada urged the people of Kogi State and other Nigerians not to be too dismayed by the incident describing death as an unavoidable end of all mortals. He wished the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss..
