Isokan Okun Media of the Mega Blessing Communication on Tuesday conferred an award of excellence on the Olu of Apata, HRH Oba Frederick Durojaiye Balogun.
Team Lead of Isokan Okun Media, Kayode Ajayi, said the award was in recognition of the monarch’s commitment and dedication to infrastructural, social wellbeing development and spiritual upliftment of Apata community which has attracted a recognition from the local and international community.
Ajayi explained that it was part of the media firm’s primary objective to build the bridge of unity across Okun nation and appreciating those who are contributing to the development of the land in their respective capacity.
The Monarch dedicated the award to almighty God, his wife, his royal cabinet and the good people of Apata.
He said that all these could not be possible if God had not approved it and his people supported.
He commended HRM Oba Dele Solomon Owoniyi, the Obaro of Kabba, for his love and passion for the development of Okùn Nation in general.
He expressed confidence that the living God, whom they serve, is about to execute a mouth watering projects in Apata community that will attracted investors from wide and far.
He appreciated Isọkan Okun media for their contributions to the development of Okùn Nation and promised to support the body for more success.
In his speech, Mr Kayode appreciated the monarch for his selfless service and commitment to the development of Apata community and Okun nation at large.
Mr Reuben Ọlọgbọnyọ, the coordinator, said Oba Balogun is an embodiment of peace and unity, and a good example of royalty in Okunland.
