Brethren, let me appreciate your energy in years past, used in your protests and agitations. May the soul of martyrs rest in peace. No sane human being will condemn such heroic acts.
You have the right to protest, association and to be independent, if you so desire. The incidences of the last few days is beginning to undermine the risk you attach to your struggle. The acts of the  supreme leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu is nothing but egoistic and it lacks sympathy to the lives of his followers, history should have taught him this.
Boycotting elections as seen in Anambra Guber and the proposed boycott of the coming general elections is non-common sensical in my opinion. That energy should have been deployed to capture all the eastern States under your watch – that is the first battle, political freedom.
You should ask Nnamdi KANU to contest for President, ask your members to contest for gubernatorial elections and  occupy/dominate the National Assembly. This is the best and rational way of secession while you press at other ends to achieve your aim absolutely.
Your supreme head can’t be enjoying himself somewhere and ask you to boycott the election!  If you boycott the election when you are having one of your own as figure in this contest, it then means you are marginalising yourselves and not others.
If you boycott the election!  It shows you have sold out to the incumbent and he may likely not fulfill the pseudo pact of switching power to the Igbos.
The North wont boycott the elections, so also the West, they are politically inclined and this is an admission that, this trend of boycott is doing no good but harm to the region.
Why must you be your own enemy? If there is anything to boycott at this moment, it should be Mazi Nnamdi KANU’s insensitive pronouncements at the detriments of the Igbo’s.
It’s pertinent i speak, as an Igala man, who is a neighbour in the confluence state.
Use your PVC to vote in or out any candidate of your choice… Let’s evolve together!
