International Youth Day: Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Congratulates Young Leaders

The Lokoja LG Chairman Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has described the International Youth Day as a day when the world acknowledges the vital role that young people play as agents of positive change and as leaders.

Speaking on the theme “Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation through Technology and Partnership”, the Council Chairman noted that the rationale of the theme recognises Youth not merely as beneficiaries of international cooperation but as active architects of it.

He charged youth to leverage technological and digital platforms to strengthen global cooperation and partnership with others across the world.

Comrade Abdullahi Adamu saluted the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Anyebe for contributing to the unity and resurgence of the youth constituency in Kogi State.

“It is on record that in recent years, this is first time that the NYCN election was conducted peacefully without imposition and it is your credit.”

He urged Kogi State Youth to continue to keep faith in the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s led administration having benefited from the government’s trusts in appointments and commitment to youth development across the state.

He urged the youth embrace technology as it offers many lucrative opportunities in all facets of human endeavours.
