In commemoration of the country’s 63rd Independence Day anniversary, Kogi State Deputy Governor, H.E Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja has expressed optimism that Nigeria will rise to its full potential amid the myriad of challenges.

He urged Kogites, and by extension, Nigerians, to be vanguards of peace and harmony to enhance development while raising the bar of prayer for a more secure, united, and prosperous nation.

Chief Onoja, in a goodwill message signed in Lokoja by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, advised Nigerians to shun all tendencies capable of plunging the nation into chaos and anarchy, tasking them to commit themselves to patriotic ideals.

He prayed for increased wisdom for leaders across board to lead the country on the pathway to sustainable progress.

The Deputy Governor, while acknowledging present challenges, said the nation’s achievements over the past 63 years gave a sense of optimism for a better tomorrow.
