A leading aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 Kogi State Governorship Poll, Prince Dayo Akanmode has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid El Fitir celebration.
Prince Akanmode in a congratulatory message to Kogi State Muslim community, congratulated them on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In his word “I join our Muslim brothers and sisters to wish them a Happy Eidel Fitri. There can not be a better time than now to reflect on what our country has been going through recently in form of killings, banditry, kidnapping and other vices.”
He stated that “We must allow the lessons of humility, love, sacrifice and commitment learnt through out the month of Ramadan continue to be the guiding principle.”
The governorship aspirant urged Muslims to let the lessons of Ramadan reflect in their actions and conduct by living in peace and be law abiding.
Prince Akanmode appealed to the people of Kogi State not to relent in praying for the peace, progress and development of the State.
