The Kogi State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists has felicitated with the State Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his swearing in for another term in office.
The council also congratulated his deputy Chief Edward Onoja on his inauguration as the state deputy Governor.
A statement by the Kogi State chairman of NUJ, Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh and the secretary Alhaji Ademu Seidu described the renewal of the Governor’s mandate as an opportunity to build on the foundation laid in his first term.
It promised the co-operation of all working Journalists in Kogi State to the Governor and his deputy to enable them deliver on their campaign promises to the people of Kogi State.
The statement further urged the governor to continue to give more attention to State media organizations and that of federal government media houses operating in the state for effective information dissemination.
