The member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency, Arc. Salman Idris, has emerged House of Representatives candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections.
Arc. Salman picked the party’s sole ticket after defeating a female aspirant, Chief Toyin Omole in the APC primary election on Saturday.
While declaring the result of the Direct Primary election, the Returning Officer, Philips Paul said Architect Salman pulled twelve thousand, two hundred and forty one votes to defeat Chief Toyin Omole who had three hundred and twenty eight votes.
Paul commended party stakeholders and supporters for their orderly conduct, which he said is a display of maturity.
