Ijumu Representative Launches ‘Victor Omofaiye Cares’ Scheme

Member representative of  Ijumu state constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye has launched a welfare scheme designed to alleviate the present economic hardship of the people of his constituency.
In a press statement signed by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the lawmaker, Comrade Prime Abubakar, the ‘Victor Adewale Omofaiye Cares’ initiative will focus on bringing succour to the needy with special attention on widows in the society.

“The program is designed to reach out to the grassroots in all possible ways, and presently food items are been distributed to people within Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu constituency ably facilitated by Okun Youth for Change.

“Widows across Ijumu Arin and Gbedde Axis has benefited so far in the ongoing program,” he stated.

Recently, Omofaiye distributed some items to the people of Ijumu constituency such as deep freezers, generators, exercise books and also sponsored the training of women on entrepreneurship

Hon. Victor Omofaiye has also set up a committee to look into the empowerment of the farmers and youths as he stressed his determination to leverage on agriculture to enhance growth and development of his constituency.
