I want to sincerely thank those who have called or sent text in the last 24 hours to confirm the misinformation going around about my withdrawal from the race.
I am assuring the general public and most especially Ijumu people who believes in me that I have not stepped down for anybody and will not jettison the general believe that my community, Egbeda-Egga is the only one that has not produced House of Assembly. I will never abandon this cause for any reason.
I have said this time without numbers, that my ambition is beyond me and that I’m just the representative of the people and my community. Anyone seeking for endorsement should approach the right people for that. In the said statement, I was never quoted to have stepped down and to set the record straight, I have never gone for any screening to warrant my disqualification.
My stand is to explore all the known democratic processes in achieving my ambition. I’m going ahead with all these and so help me God.
