Kogi East senatorial hopeful Alh. Dr. Jibrin Isah Echocho has commiserated with the family, Anyigba Community and Ogohi-Onu Anyigba (Dooga), the Ejeh of Dekina (Agagu), Ohiogba of Mozum (Ogwuuu), Etsu Basange,  Kogi East, and Kogi State Vigilante (KSV)  at large over the sudden demise of the Late Mallam Umoru Abuh (Retty) the Vigilante Chairman of Anyigba and the Kogi East zonal coordinator of the Kogi State Vigilante (KSV), expressing it as a rude shock.
Dr. Jibrin Isah express this in a telephone call made to the family, stating that Almighty Allah gives and takes life at will, we, the mere mortals have no authority over our lives and cannot question the decision of the Almighty.
He admonished the family as Muslims  to take the irreparable and irreplaceable loss in good faith because Prophet Muhammad said “whatever befall a Muslim be it good or bad is from Allah and a believer must be grateful to Allah in all situations”.
He described the late Umoru as a great asset, a disciplinarian, a peace keeper who stayed awake all nights so that others could sleep with their both eyes closed.
It could be recalled that the late Umoru Abuh  was involved in a motor accident on Sunday 16th September, 2018 while on assignment along the Lokoja-Ajaokuta road when the tyre of their vehicle bursted claiming the life of Ma’ani a member of the Vigilante on the spot while others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Alh. Dr. Jibrin Isah Echocho prayed to Allah to forgive all his shortcomings both known and unknown and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
