Hon. Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, the Caretaker Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu local government, has reiterated his commitment to promoting peace and harmony in the communities and continue to work towards building a more unified and greater LGA.
He made this known during a meeting with the Fulani community in Igalamela/Odolu local government area to preach peace and promote harmonious coexistence among all residents.
Hon. Atabor emphasized the importance of unity amongst residents of the various communities in the local government
He urged the Fulani community to embrace peace and work together with other residents to foster development and progress in the area.
Hon. Atabor also highlighted the need for dialogue and communication to resolve any conflict or misunderstanding that may arise. He emphasized the importance of mutual respect and tolerance for each others belief and culture.
The Ardos (Leaders) of the Fulani community expressed their gratitude for the meeting and pledged to work towards building a peaceful and inclusive community.
They also agreed to collaborate with other residents to address common challenges, especially security of lives and properties, and promote development in the area.
The meeting was successful in fostering understanding and promoting peace among the Fulani community and other residents in Igalamela Odolu local government area.
