The Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu LGA, Barr. Cosmas Atabor has emphasized his commitment to spread development across the local government area.
He made this commitment at the Etemahi’s Palace where he met with stakeholders of Ogbagba community.
In the address of the president of Ogbagba community, request for government’s attention in the area was presented.
Reacting to the presentation, the transition chairman declared that the local government and indeed the state government has a developmental plan for every part of the state.
He said Ogbagba community will witness government’s attention in no distant time.
The chairman promised that in the first phase, a modern borehole facility will be provided in the area to alleviate water crisis within the next 2/3 months as steps to touch other areas are perfected.
Delighted by the chairman’s commitment, the Etemahi, Chief Abel Etuh acknowledged the chairman’s regard for his stool, demonstrated by the number of times the chairman has visited his palace within his short time in office.
While thanking him for his express consideration of the Ogbagba community’s request, the Etemahi pledged the traditional institutions spiritual and royal blessings for an impactful tenure in office and called on all and sundry to stand by the administration to work for the people.
