The Idah Forum Lokoja has described the death of Alhaji Sani Ogu Gbokeke as a great loss to the people of the area and the entire state.
In a condolence message signed by the President, Hon. Dominic Omale, the Forum
The Forum described the deceased as a God fearing and easy going man who was sincerely committed to welfare of his people.
“Our great leader, Hon. Sani Ogu left us when we needed him the most. His wise counsel based on his immense wealth of experience has been of great help to the younger generation of patriots from Idah, Igalaland and indeed, Kogi State.
“Death is an inevitable end of all mortals, I therefore joined millions of Nigerians to sympathise with you and share in your feelings. This quite devastating and sad.”
They appealed to the family to take solace in the fact that he lived very a fulfilled life and prayed God to grant him the best place in aljanah.
Sani Ogu, former chairman Kogi State Local Government Service Commission, died on Tuesday.
