Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman has hailed the appointment of a staff of the institution, Oluwatoyin Charles Williams, as rector of the Nigeria-Korean Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology, Lokoja.
A congratulatory message personally signed by Dr. Salisu on Friday stated that Charles’ appointment reinforces the positive reference to the existence of excellent manpower development in the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
Dr. Salisu expressed confidence that his staff will excel as Rector of Nigeria-Korean Friendship Institute (NKFI).
“I have known you over the years as a very committed, dedicated and consistently loyal supporter of the GYB administration. You have equally demonstrated and extended similar support to me since I assumed duty as Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic.
“Such excellent commitment and noted dedication to duties and assigned responsibilities informed our decision to appoint you as the Head of your Department. You have performed beyond my expectation during the last accreditation exercise.
“Evidently, your elevated appointment is a reward for hard – work, consistent loyalty and self discipline; an indication that when you serve others you will be served.
“I have no doubt that Charles will perform excellently.
“Congratulations to my dear brother and friend Oluwatoyin Charles Williams on your appointment as the Rector of the Nigeria – Korean Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology, Lokoja,” he said.
