The people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency have reason to celebrate as the pump price of petrol has been reduced to N680 per litre, thanks to the benevolence of the Managing Director of Marktot Oil, Dr Ralph Arokoyo. This gesture has been commended by the member representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Salman Idris.
According to Hon. Idris, the reduction in pump price is a rare sacrifice that demonstrates the Managing Director’s genuine love for the people of the area.
“This is a commendable effort to bring succor to our people, and we are grateful for this kind gesture.
“With this reduction, petrol will now be cheaper in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency than in Abuja, the nation’s capital. This is a significant relief to the people of the constituency, who have been facing hardships due to the high cost of living,” Hon. Idris said.
Hon. Idris praised the Managing Director of Marktot Oil for his selfless act, saying that it is a testament to his commitment to the well-being of the people.
“We are proud to have a business tycoon like him in our constituency, who is willing to go the extra mile to alleviate the suffering of our people,” Hon. Idris added.
The reduction in pump price is expected to have a positive impact on the economy of the constituency, as it will reduce the cost of transportation and make life easier for the people.
Hon. Idris urged other business leaders in the constituency to emulate the example of the Managing Director of Marktot Oil and work towards the betterment of the community.
