A 400 level student of the department of Medical Laboratory Science University of Jos, Comrade Henry Olorunlaye has emerged as the President-elect to pilot the affairs of National Association of Okun Students (National Body) for the next one year.
In a keenly contested election where 60 delegates from the 5 local Government areas of Okunland voted, Comrade Henry polled 31 votes to defeat his main opponent Comrade Omosono T Olakunle who pulled 27 votes. Comrade Aledare Oluwatobi was also elected as the Senate President of the Association.
The electoral committee Chairman, Comrade Osadare Jackson while announcing the result of the election at Iluke in Kabba/Bunu local government area promised to publish the full list of the executive soon.
