Comrade Suleiman Iliasu Idah has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on his re-election victory for the second term in office. He described the governor’s victory as a wish of God and the result of his administration’s tireless efforts to reposition the state.

Reacting to the victory of the governor, Comrade Idah called on youths of the state and particularly in Kogi East to position themselves as the good ambassadors of the New Direction administration continuity for the sustainable development of the state.

He charged youths on the need to realise the spirit of collectivism over disgruntled philosophy of some expired leaders’ call for sectional political agenda.

Idah noted that “the victory of governor Yahaya Bello and his tireless and hard-working deputy Chief Edward Onoja from the onset has been the manifestation of the ‘prophecy’ to which God was the ordinance.”

He asserted that their electoral victory is a divine mandate earlier given.

“Their re-election has once again helped to put the record straight that the good people of the state are happy with the programmes and policies of the incumbent administration to which their continuity were not only desirable but a necessity,” he said.

He, however, called on youths in the state to be the vanguard of peace and tranquility and not to allow themselves to be used as violent tools in the hands of the desperate opposition politicians who are on an excursion on how to paint the government black for political gains.

According to Idah, only by working together with the government can the youths of the state take full advantage of the many lofty agenda of the incumbent administration for the sustainable development and growth of the state and for the benefits of the youths in particular.
