Group Donates Exercise Books to Schools in Celebration of Iconic Abubakar Ohere

A positive change advocates who could also be referred to as youths ambassadors from Kogi Central, today, donated 2000 exercise books to public schools in the senatorial district and some selected schools in the state capital, Lokoja to mark the 52nd birthday of their leader, Engr. Abubakar Ohere.
The distribution of the exercise books started from the only Girls Secondary Schools, Sarki Noma in Lokoja.
The group, while discussing and addressing the principal and students of the schools said, Engr Abubakar Ohere is a leader with passion and compassion, a leader with focus, flexibility and fortitude.
Speaking on behalf of the youth group, Comrade James Lawal, Ohere is a leader that embrace the old, women and younger generation. He described him as a leader that values education and health.
He said the group decided to come out voluntarily tasking themselves to surprise Engr. Ohere with the book distribution gesture in celebration of his 52nd Birthday.
The principal and staff of the school commended the group for their efforts. Likewise, the school head girl, who was excited said; “with this gestures, I can say that Hon. Abubakar Ohere is a great person that finds an extraordinary way to share with people.”
She, with her fellow students, eulogised Hon. Ohere, sang birthday songs for him and prayed for his many happy returns with upliftment, protection and the zeal to continue on his existing stance.
The group was represented at the events by Comrade Lawal James (Prof James), Prince Suleiman Adinoyi, Comrade Kekere Daniel Elijah, Comrade Idris Omuya Ihima and Prince Isyaka Ohindase.
Further distributions of the exercise books will continue on Monday, 16th of July across the five local government areas in Kogi Central District.
