A front line politician from Okehi local government area, Alh. Muktar Bajeh has called on the people of Kogi state, particularly, the civil servants to support the ongoing screening for a better kogi state, saying that the governor will not fail kogi people
According to him, the decision of the governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, to set up the appeal committee is in the right direction, saying that it has gone a long way to show the governor as a listening leader.
He commended the governor on the various human oriented projects initiated by him, noting that kogi people will not regret by having him as their governor.
Muktar, who is also a chairmanship aspirant, hail the efforts of those who has assisted the governor to achieve his lofty plans for the state, particularly, the Chief of staff and Chief strategist of the new direction Hon Edward Onoja, who he said is a detribalized individual, whose major concern is a better kogi state where its citizens are united.
He said the various road projects across the three senatorial districts when completed, will alleviate the sufferings of the rural dwellers who found it difficult in the past to move their farm produce to the market.
He congratulated the governor for a memorable one year in office, saying that the harvest of projects has justified the confidence reposed in him by the electorates.
“When we are moving round, the governor promised the people that he was going to do things differently. We can see that in just one year the people are already feeling the presence of good governance. I am convinced that the projects ts executed so far has justified the mandate freely given to him by kogi people” he said
