Gov. Bello’s Aide Put Smiles on Widows’ Faces in Kogi East, Promise to Extend Gesture to Other Parts of the State

A Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Comrade Muhammed Okpanachi Akwuh, has donated foodstuffs and cash to widows across the 10 wards in Idah local government area of the state.

Comrade Akwuh made this donations recently in Idah during an event tagged “relaxation moment with Comrade Ajason”. 

He started the donation first with Christian widows to cushion their Christmas expenses before extending the gesture to other widows from various faiths to enable them celebrate the New Year.

Akwuh, popularly known as Ajason, who promised to replicate the gesture to other parts of Kogi state, also added that it was the enablement given to him by the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, that made the impact possible.

“We promise to reach out to more beneficiaries in the years ahead by God’s grace,’’ he said.

The beneficiaries prayed God to continue to bless, protect and keep Comrade Ajason. They also asked God to grant all his heart desires, so that he could do more.

In a related development, the Rotary Club of Nigeria, Idah chapter, has honoured Comrade Muhammed Okpanachi Akwuh with an award for humanitarian services executed so far.

The award which was a recognition of his social impact took place in Idah recently ,

The award, according to the organisers, was to charge him to do more.

Ajason, who was overwhelmed by the honour bestowed on him, promised to continue the good work as that is the only way one could be attracted to God’s blessings.
