Gov. Bello Unveils Former Tottenham IT Coach as New Technical Adviser for Kogi United FC

Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello has unveiled a former Tottenham IT Coach, Folabi Ojekunle, as the new technical adviser of Kogi United Football Club.

At a brief ceremony at the Kogi State Government House Lokoja on Friday, Governor Bello urged Ojekunle to surpass records set by past coaches of the club and make sure Kogi return to its rightful place in Nigerian football space.

He charged Ojekunle, popularly known as Coach Foley, to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the development and progress of the club.

Chairman of Kogi United FC, Abdulmalik Isah Dolly expressed happiness with the decision to contract an gaffer like Ojekunle, adding that he is confident the new technical adviser will definitely change the face of the club.

Speaking with newsmen after the unveiling, the new technical adviser expressed his desire and readiness to make the club a force to reckon with.

He thanked Governor Bello, Chief Security Officer to the Governor, Alhaji Abdulmalik Suleiman and Chairman of Kogi United for the confidence and trust they reposed in him, promising to justify the trust by giving his best to the club.

Ojekunke had previously coached ABS FC of Ilorin and was manager at Aquinas Football Club in Northern Ireland.
