Your Excellency sir,

I join my voice to the eminent people of Kogi State to congratulate you over a well deserved victory at the Supreme Court. The victory is a litmus test to your developmental projects, dedication to duty and to the good people of Kogi State. More victories and rewards await you as you prepare to conduct local government elections come 12th December, 2020.

As the Executive Governor of Kogi State, every executive power is embedded in you and you can exercise them at will but in all your aspirations, always remember God who is the alpha and omega, who sees even beyond the universe.

I am making this little reference especially while dealing with your fellow humans, you always use yourself as an example, ‘what if I was the one’ what if I was in this person’s shoe, how will I feel’? With these inner mind questions you will be able to have good human relationship with your subjects.

Your Excellency, remember in my last article which was posted in Kogi Reports on the 16th September, 2020, I urged you to have human sympathy on the uncleared staff in Kogi State due to their unbearable situations. Today, I am appealing that you dedicate your Supreme Court victory to them and clear them so that they can come back again into Kogi State payroll. Their condition today is like the proverbial condition of an animal without tail in which God chases the flies that perches on its body.

Remember their prayers for you during your electoral case in both lower and upper courts.

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Kogi State chapter is not in existence again. Comrade Onuh Edoka and his co-executives are no where to be found. In fact, their Comradeship had been stripped off long ago and that is why they couldn’t sing aluta songs in respect of the uncleared staff. They couldn’t struggle to reawaken the spirit of the uncleared staff rather, they were made to live in their pitiable fate.

Elder Mrs. Deborah Ogunmola, the Head of Service, Kogi State too had been silent over the deplorable conditions of these said people. In fact, it’s unfair for an elder in a church not to stand out and fight for her dying workers. All they keep on demanding is payment of minimum wage.

Can you compare yourselves who earns monthly salary now to those who are not? It’s high time for both NLC in Kogi State and Elder Mrs. Ogunmola to come to the public domain and address this matter and as well tender an apology to their half dead, half alive staff and members of their Union.

Thanks and God continue to bless Kogi State richly.
