Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has approved the appointment of three board chairmen.
The Chairmen are Barrister (Mrs) Justina Abanida from Yagba West Local Government Area as Chairperson of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Oseni Yakubu from Okene Local Government Area as the Chairman of the Kogi State Board of Internal Revenue, while Mr. Emmanuel Odiniya from Olamaboro Local Government Area is appointed Chairman of Bureau of Local Government Pension.
According to the Governor, the appointments which were announced through the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Ayoade Folashade, take immediate effect.
The statement also announced Arch. Robert M. Achanya as Director-General, Bureau of Public Private Partnership while Barrister Moses Okezie is to serve as Senior Special Assistant on Speech Writing to the Governor.
The governor urged the appointees to always display high level responsibility and probity in line with the direction of the administration’s commitment to service delivery to the Kogi people.
