Kogi state chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has forged a strategic partnership with the Kogi State Forum of Senior Special Assistants (KFSSA) on the much anticipated Governor Ododo Business Outreach (GOBO) project.
Chairman of ALGON, Hon Tosin Olokun, made this known during a meeting in Lokoja on Monday.
Olokun, alongside ALGON leadership, including Hon. Nuhu Ahmed, and Hon. John Urah Ikani, expressed enthusiasm for GOBO’s grassroots empowerment mission.
He applauded the GOBO initiative, noting that it will not only boost the administration’s image but also strengthen local economies, aligning perfectly with their constituencies’ interests.

KFSSA Chairman, Hon. Yahaya Shehu Ahmed, emphasized GOBO’s potential for empowering market women, artisans, and vulnerable communities.
During the meeting, Hon Yahaya Shehu Ahmed extended an invitation to ALGON to attend the upcoming GOBO flag-off ceremony coming up on Thursday October 31, 2024.
