The Lawmaker Representing Idah Federal Constituency, Hon. David Idris Zacharias, has congratulated Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, who turns 57 years on Tuesday June 25.
Zacharias in a statement by his Head of Media and Communications, Jeremiah Ocheme, said Gbajabiamila’s contributions to the development of Nigeria and the legislature should be commended by all Nigerians and worthy of note.
The lawmaker praised Gbajabiamila’s enormous contributions and outstanding accomplishments in his service to the country over the years which according to him, has translated in his emergence as Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives recently.
“On behalf of my family, the good people of Idah Federal Constituency, I wish to congratulate the distinguished Honorable Speaker of Nigeria’s 9th Assembly, a brilliant, humble, consistent, focused, intelligent, meticulous, consistent and loyal party man, on the occasion of his 57th birthday anniversary celebration, a good age of progress”
Zacharias in the statement described Gbajabiamila as a responsible, respected, charismatic and quintessential politician who have created an enviable niche for himself among his contemporaries through effective law making, an instrument he has used to add value to the lives of his people and Nigerians at large.
“As you celebrate this new age that is symbolic to your emergence as Speaker of Nigeria’s 9th House of Representatives, I charge you to call to mind the enormous task before you which culminate in uniting Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic, religious, political and social beliefs.
“As a master and a general in lawmaking, I urge you to use your new age to bring to bear on your legislative leadership of the House s o that Nigerians will feel the impact of your experience, a product of these 57 years of hard work, dedication, mentorship, quality leadership and living for others,” he said.
The Idah federal law maker prayed that God will guide and grant Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, long life, good health of mind and body, assured security and ultimately, divine wisdom as he steers the sheep of the 9th House of Representatives.
