FRSC to Partner with Kogi YALI

Government, stakeholders and well to do individuals in the state has been charged to invest in the growth and development of the youth in other to build quality leaders that can pilot the affairs of the state in the nearest future.
The Kogi state Sector Commandant of Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Martins Olusegun gave the charge during a familiarization visit which was led by the state coordinator of Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), Eunice Emmanuel-Bagi in his office recently.
According to him, the future of the youth in the state must be properly invested on so as to have intellectual leaders who can right the wrong of the past.
While appreciating the YALI group for acknowledging the FRSC as a worthy sector to be reckoned with, he further promised to fully carry along the YALI group in all it programs that concerns rendering of communal development services and trainings.
In her remark, the state coordinator of Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), Eunice Emmanuel-Bagi thanked the management of the Federal Road Safety Corps for giving the opportunity for the familiarization visit.
According to her, YALI network in Kogi state since it existence has provided a platform to network and meet people who share the same interest in business and career as well as the same passion for impact and community development.
While noting that YALI group is not out to benefit from the society but rather give back to the society, she further solicited for collaboration from the Federal Road Safety Corps in the area of rendering quality services to the community in the area of training, making of public sensitization on safety awareness, usage of road traffic signs and others.
YALI was launched by former US President Barrack Hussein Obama to invest in the next generation of Young African Leaders and also support them as they spur growth, and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance and governance and enhance peace and security across sub-Saharan Africa.
