Nothing has been heard of the recent release of N423billion by the federal government as bail-out to the three tiers of government – FG, States and LGAs. The silence is criminal.
The whole world is aware that these monies have been released but nobody is saying anything in Kogi state, why? In Ekiti for instance, we know that governor Fayose got N2.1billion. How much did governor Idris Wada of Kogi state get? How much did our local governments get? We demand to know sirs. The silence in kogi government and our local governments is criminal and it will not be tolerated at all.
How can they collect our money and keep quiet as if nothing happened? Haba. Let the figures be published for all to see and let’s know what exactly it will be used for. The era of impunity is over oo. Kogi government is oweing 2 months salary while local people are oweing more than 1 years salary. We expect improvement in this with the bailout please.
If the kogi state government does not have alterior motives concerning the bailout billions why then are they criminally silent? We demand public announcement on this immediately.
