The Director General of Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kogi State, Kingsley Fanwo has hailed APC leaders and members for ensuring a crisis-free Ward Congress across the State.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the Ward Congress in Takete Ide/Otafun Ward of Mopamuro LGA, Fanwo said the peaceful Congress is a true reflection of the Yahaya Bello-led APC in the State.
“You can see how enthusiastic our members are today. They are excited and rearing to go as we approach the 2019 general elections.
“The manner our members conducted themselves today is a clear indication the leadership of Alh. Yahaya Bello is beginning to yield fruits. To the Governor, it has to be politics without bloodletting. Throughout the entire exercise, members proved to the world that our party is peace-loving.
“Today is another sad day for the People’s Democratic Party because they never expected us to be this organized. They lost hope when our people turned out in their numbers to elect New executives that will pilot our party in the next four years. They know the numbers can win any election in the state”.
Fanwo congratulated the newly elected party Chairman in the Ward, Mr. John Meseko, urging him to be fair to all and ensure that the party grows stronger in the Ward.
“A big congratulations to our Chairman, Mr. John Olugbayi Meseko. We have confidence in your charismatic leadership to pilot the affairs of our party for the next four years. We urge all executives in the Ward to work harmoniously in order for the party to continue to win elections in the Ward”.
