Enema Paul Mourns Accident Victims, Prays God To Rest Their Souls

The Kogi state Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Enema Paul has expressed his deepest sadness over the fatal accident that claimed several lives along Lokoja-Okene road last Friday. The commissioner who made the disclosure prayed GOD to accept their souls and grant their immediate families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Speaking shortly after Sunday service, the commissioner noted that death is one thing nobody can blame it’s cause on man but cautioned drivers and commuters to always be careful while playing on highways.
In his words, “it is a very regrettable event considering the death toll recorded but we cannot question what God had predestined. However, drivers and whoever finds himself on high way must learn to take caution as some of this incidents could have been avoidable if not for free handiness.”
While commiserating the family of the affected victims, the commissioner prayed for an end to such sad events, prayed for the acceptance of their soul in high heavens and thanked the Chief of staff to Kogi state governor, Hon Edward Onoja who reportedly took responsibility of some of the victims who narrowly escaped death.
Friday, 28th July will remain a black day in the heart of Lokoja residents in the days ahead as no lesser than twelve victims loss their live amidst several others with severe injury and destruction of properties valued at multi million naira.
