The Ejuku Youth Forum has expressed deep grief over the transition of former Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, describing his demise as a monumental loss to the entire state and the nation at large.
In an official condolence press statement issued on Tuesday by the President of the Ejuku Youth Forum, Comrade Olusegun Paul Demokun, the group paid rich tributes to the late elder statesman, acknowledging his extensive contributions to the political stability, democratic history, and socio-economic development of Kogi State during and after his tenure in office.
The forum highlighted the late governor’s special bond with the Ejuku community, noting that his devotion to public service left enduring footprints across the region. The group observed that Alhaji Ibrahim Idris dedicated a significant portion of his life to selfless leadership and the advancement of his people.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved, the leadership of the forum extended heartfelt sympathies to the immediate family of the deceased, the Kogi State Government, and the residents of the state, while praying for divine fortitude for the family and eternal rest for the soul of the departed leader.
