The Ejeh of Ibaji, His Royal Highness Ajofe John Egwemi, has commended the Executive Director of the Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF), Dr Arome Salifu over the organization’s efforts in improving nutrition results in children of 0-5 years as well as pregnant and lactating mothers in almost all households in the area.
The monarch gave the commendation when the AYGF team paid him a visit at Onyedega, headquarters of Ibaji local government.
He stressed that given the favourable positive feedbacks from his people on the Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN) interventions, it is crystal clear that the organization is doing well.
He stated that the interventions has given room to quality service provision to the beneficiaries and the confirmation is the organization rated as the best performing non-state actors on the ANRiN Project among the twelve implementing states across Nigeria.
He equally thanked the state government and the World Bank for their collaborative supports.
He prayed for the Executive Director of AYGF, stressing that, “He who waters shall be watered. May Dr Arome Salifu be watered for he has watered the entire Igala kingdom with positive effect of the intervention which include most notably, employment opportunities to more than three hundred and thirty three youths in the 10 LGAs covered by AYGF.”
The monarch added that this is a great feat worthy of acknowledgement and recognition by the entire kingdom.
