Eid Ul Kabir: Salisu Ogu Congratulates Muslim Faithfuls, Calls For Patience

The Kogi State Commissioner for Transportation, Prince Sani Ogu Salisu has congratulated Muslim faithfuls in Kogi State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of this year sallah celebrations and urges Kogites to be patient with the administration of his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello of Kogi state.

In his Eid message which was made available, the young Commissioner pointed out that Kogi under the government of the new direction is undergoing a total overhaul for good and that the good times are already here.

In his words, “while I felicitate with my Muslim brethren in the state and all over the country, I equally sympathize with those passing through hard times in the state as social sacrifice for the good of the state. The good thing is that the best times are here and all that is required now is absolute patience with his Excellency.”

“He has always been very passionate about the welfare of the common Kogi man and in the fullness of time, the dividends shall manifest soon. So, in the spirit of the season, let’s be patient and pray for the administration to success as its success is to the good of the entire state population,” he stressed.

As part of the activities to mark this year’s celebration, the Federal Government has through the Minister of Interior earlier announced Friday, the 1st of September and Monday, 4th of September as public holidays.
