Senator Atai Aidoko Ali has called on Muslim faithful to continue to imbibe the culture of love, sacrifice, peace and togetherness.
Aidoko made the call in his Sallah message to his Kogi East constituents.
He noted that Eidul Kabir celebration is in commemoration of the most cherished sacrifice made by one of the prophets of Almighty God and now being emulated by Islamic faithfuls.
The Federal lawmaker stated that the essence of the divine sacrifice demonstrated by prophet Ibrahim by sacrificing Ismael was the hallmark of Sallah celebrations
He charged the people to be modest in their dealings with fellow beings as exemplified by the holy prophet.
The senator enjoined the people to pray for Nigeria and her leaders at all levels.
