Eid el-Kabir: Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Calls for Peace, Sacrifice, National Unity

As Muslim faithful across Nigeria and around the world celebrate the sacred occasion of Eid el-Kabir, the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Sen. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the Muslim Ummah, calling for renewed commitment to the values of sacrifice, compassion, unity, and national development.

In a goodwill message released to commemorate the festival, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan described Eid el-Kabir as one of the most profound moments in the Islamic calendar, symbolizing steadfast faith, obedience to God, selflessness, and dedication to the wellbeing of humanity.

She noted that the celebration transcends religious observance and offers important lessons capable of strengthening communities and advancing national cohesion.

According to the Senator:

“Eid el-Kabir is a sacred season of reflection and gratitude. It reminds us that sacrifice, faith, and compassion remain essential virtues in building peaceful families, stronger communities, and a more prosperous nation.”
