Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has called on Muslims to sustain the virtues, ideals and values of the just concluded fasting season beyond Ramadan.

In a message he personally signed and issued in Lokoja on Monday, Dr. Salisu felicitated with Muslims faithfuls on this year’s occasion of Eid el-Fitr celebration.

He noted that Ramadan has been a month of deep reflection, introspection and charitable deeds, and admonished adherents to reflect on the teachings of the Holy month which calls for sacrifice and perseverance in order to achieve enormous reward while alive in this world and the hereafter.

“On this Eid day, may the Almighty Allah shower His blessings upon you and your loved ones, and may He grant you the highest level of happiness and joy on this auspicious day,” he prayed.
