A front line House of Assembly aspirant for Ankpa II Constituency seat, Hon. Musa Idris Danjuma (OANDO) has congratulated Muslims in Kogi State, urged them to reminisce on the reasons for the season.
In a good will message to Muslims, Danjuma charged Muslims faithfuls to emulate the exemplary qualities of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) who stood by what is right and was irrepressible despite pressure and chastisement from his people on him to deviate from God of mankind and all that exists.
“It’s my esteem happiness to extend greetings to Muslims in Kogi State, especially my people of Ankpa II Constituency on this auspicious occasions of Eid-el-Adha.
“The acts of Prophet Ibrahim should be inspirational and a symbol of adherence and commitment to everyone Muslims and none Muslims alike to submit wholeheartedly to God’s Command while seeking His Pleasure since Ibrahim (Abraham) is virtually respected by World major religions especially Islam and Christianity.
“On this holy Occasions what is important is to commits oneself to be a good human being, to caring and compassionate to one another, to be sincere and fulfils promises made to ourselves and God Almighty.
“We should please not immerse in joy and forget the less privileged, the poor and needies around us, let’s try our best efforts to make this Eid beautiful for them too,” he said
