In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
I, Dr. Alhaji Prince Yakub Yakub, the Galadima of Ankpa Kingdom, heartily felicitate with the Muslim Ummah and indeed all Nigerians on the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
This sacred period has been one of deep reflection, devotion, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to the teachings of Islam. As we celebrate today, I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) accepts our fasting, prayers, and acts of charity, and grants us forgiveness, mercy, and countless blessings.
Eid al-Fitr reminds us of the importance of unity, love, tolerance, and compassion. I urge us all to sustain the virtues of patience, self-discipline, and generosity cultivated during Ramadan, and to continue living in peace and harmony with one another, regardless of our differences.
I offer my sincere prayers for our dear nation, Nigeria. May Allah bless our country with lasting peace, stability, and progress. May He guide our leaders aright, strengthen our unity, and help us overcome every challenge confronting us as a people.
I also pray for Kogi State, that it continues to experience growth, development, and peaceful coexistence among its diverse communities. May the state prosper in all areas and remain a shining example of unity.
To the good people of Ankpa Local Government Area and the entire Ankpa Kingdom, I pray for Allah’s protection, guidance, and abundant blessings. May our land continue to flourish in peace, security, and progress, and may we remain united in purpose and strength.
As we celebrate, let us remember the less privileged, extend kindness to one another, and promote peace in our communities.
