The House of Assembly candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for Lokoja I state constituency, Henry Francis Folaranmi, has called Muslims to unburden their hearts and merry in the moment of great joy occasioned by this year’s Eid Adha celebrations.
In a Sallah message on Saturday, the House of Assembly hopeful urged the people of Lokoja to live beyond the fangs of despair and since “a day like this reminds us of the many blessings of Allah (SWT).”
“This year’s Eid Adha is special because it reminds us of sacrifice and the great love of Allah (SWT).
“While we celebrate, conscious of His Mercy and love, let us, as a people use this occasion to share love and care to everyone, especially those who need our love and care the most.
“I urge my people to unburden their hearts and merry in this moment of great joy and make the time spent with family members, loved ones and close friends a memorable one.
Our Country is in a moment of great hopelessness, but as a people we must hope and live beyond the fangs of despair since a day like this reminds us of the many blessings of Allah (SWT). So let’s stay cheerful, laugh and merry.
“While I pray that this year’s Eid bring more blessings, love and joy to your heart, know that a people like you are a treasures to hold forever.
“May the blessings of Almighty Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful be with you and your loved ones always.”
