…prayers were offered for Gov. Bello quick recovery
The Administrator of Ijumu local government, Alhaji Taufiq Isa has debunks reports that he organised prayer sessions for quick recovery of the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Mr. Edward Onoja.
In a statement from Isa’s office, the Administrator said prayers were solely offered for Governor Yahaya Bello’s recovery after he sustained injuries on his left foot after a minor accident.
He said the report was pure misinformation by mischief makers who are threatened by his rising profile in the state.
“Common sense should have shown the persons behind this story that the Chief of Staff and I are working in harmony and towards realizing same goal of providing good governance in Kogi state.
“This story, coming so soon after the fake news that I was sick, incapacitated and flown abroad proves that these fallacious stories are deliberately contrived for reasons that are yet to be publicly disclosed.
“It is instructive that this same enemies apparently intended to rubbish Alhaji Taufiq and caused disharmony amongst the people in government of Kogi state,” he said.
