House of Representative member representing Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency in Kogi State, Honorable Tajudeen Yusuf has said that Education is a top priority to his people.
Yusuf, at the closing ceremony of his Back to School summer studies 2014 ?Scholarship Awards in Kabba on Saturday.
Yusuf, noted that Education plays a crucial role in the development of mankind and stated that was why he has shown interest in bringing education to his people.
He said Education was the surest avenue to make positive difference in every sphere of human existence.
Yusuf, stated that education was most pressing in the need of the teaming youths and the best strategy to evolve positive institutional and human capital development in his constituency was to initiate the yearly summer school studies.
He noted that the introduction of the summer school had impacted positively on the academic pursuit of youths? in his constituency.
“The performance of our youths at the West African School certificate and National Examination Council had improved tremendously,” Yusuf said.
He thanked God for the unquantifiable support of everyone towards the success of the programme.
Yusuf,said over one hundred students had benefited from his scholarship ?awards in the last 4 years.
He urged all students in his constituency to embrace education at all times.
