A group under the auspices, Igala Youth Assembly, in Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State, has called on the chairman of the area, Aloysius Okino, to declare his interest for the House of Representatives.
In a statement, President of the group, Aruwa Newman Sanni, said Okino has performed well as council chairman and deserves higher responsibilities.
The group said it was impressed “with the provision of critical infrastructure across the 14 wards of the local government area. For the first time, we can see development in our local government. We have a chairman with outstanding and sterling leadership qualities and we feel that he can do more”.
