Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm, the 2027 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant for Kogi State, has extended warm felicitations to all fathers across the state, describing them as the unsung heroes and pillars upon which families, communities, and the nation are built.
In a statement signed and issued by his Media Office, Dr. Bryhm noted that fatherhood is one of the most sacred and demanding responsibilities any man can undertake one that requires sacrifice, patience, strength, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of others. He stressed that the qualities that define great fathers love, discipline, provision, protection, and guidance are the very qualities that Kogi State urgently needs in its leadership.
“A father’s love is quiet strength,” Dr. Bryhm stated. “Fathers work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to ensure that their children have a future filled with hope and opportunity. They bear burdens in silence, make sacrifices without complaint, and stand as guardians of the next generation. Today, we honour them not with grand titles, but with gratitude, recognition, and a renewed commitment to building a society that values their contributions.”

Drawing a parallel between fatherhood and governance, Dr. Bryhm emphasized that just as a father must provide for his household, leadership must provide security, economic opportunity, and a sense of direction for the people. He lamented that too many families in Kogi State are struggling not because they lack potential, but because they have been failed by a leadership that has abandoned its paternal responsibility to the people.
Fathers are kingdom builders not only in their homes but also in the society they help shape. Let us build a Kogi State that our fathers will be proud to leave behind for their children. Let us build a Kogi State where peace, security, and prosperity are not dreams but realities,” Dr. Bryhm concluded.
He prayed for God’s continued strength, wisdom, and protection over all fathers in Kogi State and Nigeria at large, wishing them a joyful and blessed Father’s Day celebration.
